Alhassane Soukouna

As an associate in the Bamako office of VAUGHAN AVOCATS, Alhassane Soukouna advises international clients in the development of their projects, mainly in the fields of energy, infrastructure and natural resources in French-speaking Africa and the OHADA states.

Alhassane is involved in supporting investors and international companies in their activities in Mali and structuring operations in Africa.

 

Biography

Alhassane Soukouna’s practice focuses on energy law, mining law, Project Finance and OHADA law.

He advises local and foreign companies on matters related to the development of energy and mining projects.

Alhassane was previously a Legal expert in the Global Projects & Finance Department of Mayer Brown Paris office. He has also completed several internships, notably in ACCORHOTELS Africa & Middle East Legal Department, as well as in Orano Mining Business Unit Legal Department.

Alhassane is fluent in French, English, Bambara, Hausa and Djerma.
